Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Agentic AI & Enterprise SolutionsDesignationSenior Web DeveloperLocationMph- Client Site, New York, USJob SummaryThe Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering leader who connects business objectives with production-grade AI solutions. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and platform teams to transform ideas into deployable solutions using an enterprise-enabled agentic AI platform. The FDE is responsible for the entire lifecycle of solution delivery, ensuring that solutions meet enterprise standards for security and compliance while delivering measurable business outcomes.Responsibilities * Partner with business stakeholders to understand problem statements, workflows, and desired outcomes. * Translate business intent into AI-enabled solution designs, agent workflows, and system architectures. * Oversee end-to-end delivery from prototype to production rollout. * Implement complex systems integrations to address critical business challenges. * Drive rapid iteration while ensuring enterprise-grade quality, security, and reliability. * Design and implement agentic workflows using enterprise agentic AI platforms. * Orchestrate multi-agent systems for reasoning, planning, execution, validation, and monitoring. * Encode business logic and policies into autonomous or semi-autonomous agents. * Optimize solutions for accuracy, latency, cost, and reliability. * Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders. * Present architectures, demos, and outcomes to engineering leaders and executives. * Gather feedback from production usage to continuously improve solutions.Mandatory Skills * Strong background in software engineering, particularly in backend development, APIs, and distributed systems. * Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go). * Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). * Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration patterns. * Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. * Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.Preferred Skills * Experience in regulated industries (banking, financial services, healthcare). * Exposure to AI governance, model risk, and compliance frameworks. * Prior experience in customer-facing engineering roles (FDE, Solutions Engineer, Field Engineer). * Familiarity with AI-assisted testing, documentation, and code review tools.QualificationsWe are looking for a candidate who is customer-centric, possesses a strong ownership mentality, and has a good handle on complex enterprise system integrations.
